I think it's a 1950 or 1951. A 1954 would have... Small light under headlight. 'Tombstone' plastic taillight. 4 bar parcel rack on tank. Seam joint down tank center.

Bonjour. Je suis en France. J ai la même que vous. Je l ai restaurer du mieux que je pouvais. Tout fonctionne bien, mais je n arrive. Pas à régler l embrayage. Pouvez vous me dire s il y a 3 ou 4 vitesses sur cette moto ? Pour l instant je n arrive à passer que 2 vitesses. Merci. René

The M20 and M21 were lovely sidevalve sloggers- but many had very low gearing for Military use, or pulling sidecars.

pretty sure the valve springs have never been that color!, this thing looks great, and i truly appreciate the effort, but I'm quite sure it looks like nothing from the 30's and 40's ... Is that green color one from an actual production year? it looks off to me. Sorry its a fantastic bike, i'm just a history nerd..
